Originaire de Cleveland, Ohio, John Meldrum est un chanteur-compositeur-interprète, producteur, chef de chœur et professeur de musique maintenant basé à Paris.
Fondée en 1999, John Meldrum and the Highlites est une chorale internationale fusionnant le mouvement et les rythmes d'inspiration africaine et l' éclectique de la folk, le reggae, le rock et roll, le jazz, le rhythm et blues, le gospel et negro spirituals - portés à la vie par la guitare acoustique, congas et autres accompagnement instrumental. John Meldrum and the Highlites se réunissent pour des concerts allant jusqu'à 250 chanteurs et musiciens.
Des ateliers / répétitions ont lieu tous les lundi et mercredi à Paris.
Son autre projet, L'Oratorio de la Paix, est une œuvre de musique basée sur le thème de la paix entre les peuples et les religions.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, John Meldrum is a singer- songwriter, producer, choir leader and music teacher now based in Paris.
Founded in 1999, John Meldrum and the Highlites is an international choir infused with movement and African-inspired rhythms, drawing on an eclectic mix of folk, reggae, rock and roll, jazz, rhythm and blues, gospel and negro spirituals - brought to life by acoustic guitar, congas and other instrumental accompaniment. John Meldrum and The Highlites concerts have gathered up to 250 singers and musicians.
Regular workshops/rehearsals are held every Monday and Wednesday in Paris. John's other project, The Peace Oratorio, is a work of music based on the theme of peace between peoples, races and religions.
