Hooligan was formed in Dublin city in October 2009 with Dave Linehan, who has also played with the Upstarts,on guitar and vocals and Aidan Parsons on bass. The recently released debut 4 track EP, "Punk Rockers & Hell Raisers" is available at Tower Records, Freebird Records & The Sound Cellar, Dublin and e2music, Mullingar. The current line-up is Dave Linehan, guitar & vocals, Roger Boyd (ex 53rd & 3rd) bass & JP Morer, ex French band "Kurt!" who toured with the Damned, the Stranglers and Killing Joke on drums. Hooligan is one of many Irish (Gaelic) words that are used in the English language. It refers to a notorious Irish family with the surname Hooligan.
