Saba Sahar (35) lives and works in Kabul, Afghanistan. As a policewoman serving the Afghani interior ministry, she is responsible for the reconstruction of her country, as actress and film director she fights for society’s recognition of the independence of the Afghani woman. Her roles as mother, policewoman and filmmaker blur in Kabul’s “dream factory” into a picture puzzle of a complex Afghani reality.
