I'm Dr. Jim Congdon, I'm a board certified hematologist and medical oncologist in practice at The Everett Clinic, working at The Everett Cancer Center. I'm a native of Chicago, Illinois.
I did my undergraduate work at The University of Illinois, receiving a BA in biology. I went to medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and graduated in 1972. I did an internal medicine residency with the US Navy, in California, and while still in the Navy, finished my Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. I then put in another five years on active duty, as a staff attending oncologist with the Navy, before joining the Western Washington Medical group in Everett.
