Balochistan, not Pak internal issue: Mengal

Europe, January 9: Continuing atrocities by Pakistan have forced many Baloch political leaders to live overseas in “Self-imposed Exile”. One of them is Munir Mengal who was forcibly abducted in April 2006 and kept in torture cells for 16 months. Today he lives in Europe, and continues his struggle by raising issues on human rights and exploitation of resources in Balochistan by Pakistan at international forums. In December 2011, on the sidelines of International Conference on Afghanistan, he met the German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and handed over a note requesting the intervention of the international community to end genocide in Balochistan.
