Outdoor Furniture Manufacturing Process – Step 6

Step six of outdoor furniture manufacturing process is a video in which we discuss the powder coat process. the powder coat process is what we use to coat our aluminum frames in the various colors. There are 3 phases. First phase is the cleaning and etching phase. This phase we dip the raw material in a chemical that cleans the aluminum frame of any dirt or oil left behind from the fabrication process. In phase 2 we powder the frames. We use a powder gun to apply the paint and a powder booth to reclaim any over spray. Phase three is the final phase. In this phase we heat up the powder until it melts and cures.
