Bangkok throws up defences amid devastating floods

Efforts to protect Thailand's capital from the country's worst flooding in decades have left areas outside the city bearing the brunt of the disaster. More than 300 people have been killed, while tens of thousands more seek refuge in shelters and flooding of factories and roads halts production.
