North Korea's Kim Jong-il has begun his first public visit to Russia since 2002. Now, as then, he crossed the border by train. The reclusive leader will meet President Dmitry Medvedev and spend time in Russia's Far East and Siberia. Russia is a member of the long-stalled six party talks on North Korea's nuclear programme.
