Make Easy Smothered Potatoes and Sausage in your Slow Cooker

Recipe:
Easy Smothered Potatoes and Sausage

This savory meal goes well as a side or main dish.

3 links (1 lb.) smoked sausage, cut in small pieces
1 (2-lb.) bag frozen, crinkle-cut French-fried potatoes, defrosted
1 (1-oz.) package onion soup mix, dissolved in 3/4 cup water
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt, red & black pepper, to taste
1/2 stick butter, chopped

Brown sausage in skillet, drain excess grease.
Add all ingredients to slow cooker, stir, cover and cook on high for 3 ½ hours.

Made two quarts.
