Travel documents are really important. After your personal safety, your documents are your number 2 safety item, so it's really important what you do with them. Travel documents that I am concerned about are my passport, my Visa, my travel insurance, and my itinerary such as my flight information and my hotel information. I keep these altogether on me, and I also keep copies of these in my suitcase. I use the safe in my hotel room if that's available, and if that's not available I will use a money belt. I also like to have, what I call my 3 point checklist. I have all my documents together, that is point 1. I have my wallet which is number 2 for me, and my camera, happens to be number 3. So, I have at all times, only three things that I need to check that I am really concerned about when I am moving around in a foreign city and concerned about my documents. It's actually, number 1 documents, number 2 wallet, and number 3 camera. I always check for those three.
