Tai Chi: White Crane Spread Wing to Brush Knee Push - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats. Hello my name is Tiffany Chen. I am from William C.C. Chen’s Tai Chi Chuan. We’re going to work on White Crane Spreads its Wings into Brush Knee and Push. Begin by turning to your left. And now turning the right foot out. So it’s facing right out from the right hand side as if your feet are perpendicular and now just shift all the weight down into the right leg. Your heels should line up. Left palm, at the right shoulder. Right palm, just underneath, like you’re holding a ball. You want to sink into the right leg. Relax. All the weight comes off the left foot. Now the left foot is gong to sweep across in front of you, and you’ll feel your thighs squeeze together. As we do that, the right palm comes up to your temple, and the left palm drops down to your hip. Now you want to turn to the right, dropping the right hand and flipping the palm over so the palm’s facing up. And as you do so, the left palm comes up behind. Now continue turning to the right. The left palm comes across, the right extends behind you. Turn back to the left slightly. The left palm drops, the right palm comes back over. Step back out with the left. Shift, synch, brush knee push, and the right knee turns in upon the heel. This completes the segment.
