Japan Tsunami 2011 - A Call to Action

Technology has brought our global community closer together than it has ever been before. Each and every home with a computer becomes acutely aware of the ebb and flow of nations and people all over the world. Japan is the most "technologically wired" country and the world has been able to see the multiple tragedies unfold since the earthquake set everything motion Friday, March 11th.

In this clip we learn about one of the stories that appeared in newspapers. It's the story about a man who incredibly survived for several days out on the open sea...some 10 miles from the shoreline. He used the roof from his house as a float.

We want the people of Japan to be strong and to know that they are not alone; indeed, may this terrible sequence of events be the cross roads for a new era of global awareness and support. If you - the viewer have not already done so, please donate to your favorite support agency that will aid the Japanese in this time of desperation.
