Yoga For High BP Jivha Bandha

Jivha means 'tongue' and Bandha means 'lock'. In this bandha you are locking the tongue by pressing it against the teeth and the palate. This practise improves the blood circulation in throat region and so the health of thyroid glands improves. This practice stimulates carotid body and sinus nerves. This in turn helps to control blood pressure. Remember to do this practice alternately with Simha Mudra for 3 times.
