Fireworks in Hong Kong for Year of the Rabbit

Hundreds of thousands of people in Hong Kong have watched a giant fireworks display on the second day of the Year of the Rabbit.
Fireworks chase away evil spirits and are at the heart of the Chinese New Year celebrations.
The Year of the Rabbit, which opens at the end of a year of tremendous economic growth in China, is traditionally believed to bring prosperity and success.
It is also predicted to be less violent than the recently concluded Year of the Tiger.
"OK, I want peace around the world and everyone healthy. And a lot of happiness, OK," said Ricky Tsang who watched with his wife and young child.
According to Hong Kong astrologers it is also a good year to get married, have children and start new relationships.
"Healthy, lucky and prosperous," said Gloria Lee who watched with her boyfriend.
