Sony PS3 Film Called ‘Real Time’
PlayStation 3 have created a three minute film called ‘Real Time’ which visually illustrates how real life can be simulated via a new function of the forthcoming console: Real Time Physics.
The subjects of the film are two teenage amateur lightweight boxers as they prepare for a fight. A mysterious woman’s voice commentates as the boxers size each other up before a bout of sparring. She explains the benefits of PlayStation 3’s real time technology, which is illustrated by high definition, super slo-motion footage.
In the past, gaming devices were pre-programmed – once you had worked out how to defeat them they were powerless. Using a PlayStation 3 is just like facing a human opponent. Its ability to respond makes it the most deadly competitor you will ever face.
Further innovative films to illustrate the exciting new features of the PlayStation 3 are set to follow, featuring subject matter as diverse as: a peculiar hoarder, the new craze of ‘speed stacking’, an elderly womans apartment exploding and extreme BMX’ing.
