"It's Just Really Amazing" - Designer on Shen Yun,California

The classical Chinese dance and music company Shen Yun Performing Arts has just wrapped up a four-show run in San Fransisco, California. Our correspondent caught up with a number of artists who had this to say about the show.
Suzanne Macahilig is a well-known pianist in the San Francisco Bay area. She saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at San Francisco's War Memorial Opera House, and was impressed by the solo singers' and the dancers' performances.
[Suzanne Macahilig, Pianist]:
"I thought their voices were beautiful. I thought the movements were really expressive and of course the synchronization I love."
[Daro Tempesca, Designer]
"It was absolutely marvelous. All the colors. It was great singing. It's just really amazing... I liked the precision. I'm an artist and I appreciate all the artist aspects, but also that the things are very precise."
In his earlier years Zhu Mingwei was taught by well-known Beijing Opera performers, so the show had a special meaning for him
[Zhu Mingwei, Beijing Opera Artist]:
"The show is rich with the traditional flavor. They are not performing just for the sake of performing. The key is they are able to present the full spirit. Even their facial expressions coordinate well with the music."
