Fire officials say they were told about the blaze soon after noon.

[R. K. Suray, Fire Officer, Aurangabad]:

The bus was completely destroyed. Now, the case is under police investigation.

The bus owner says the fire was set by vandals.

"This is a notorious deed, police should take action against these incidents of arson."

Similar incidents have been reported over the past two months in other parts of the city as well.
