Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar set for quickie divorce

Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar are set to get a "quickie" divorce. The announcement comes days after news of her alleged affair with Australian cricketer Shane Warne.

The 45-year-old model is said to have already agreed the settlement terms of their divorce, with neither seeking any of the other's fortune.

The Indian textile tycoon and Liz Hurley married in March 2007 and Liz claimed on Twitter that the couple had "separated a few months ago", adding: "our close family and friends are aware of this".

After the allegations surfaced, Shane Warne, who had previously reconciled with former wife Simone, also wanted to clear the air and wrote on his website:

"Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time. It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents."

One day later, Liz tweeted: "Painful, sad days. Arun and I separated for private reasons but for the record he has been a great father to our son Damian and will always be in his life."

It comes a day after another high-profile couple, Hollywood stars Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds, announced their divorce.
