New Will.i.am video featuring Cheryl Cole

Will.i.am's new single, Check it Out featuring Minaj, is already set to be one of the biggest hits of the next few months but it's UK release will also feature Cheryl Cole.

The pair have had a very public friendship in 2010 since they worked together on Cole's single, 3 Words.

The new single also features Minaj, hotly tipped to be the biggest pop sensation out of the US since Lady Gaga broke onto the scene.

Speculation about Cole and Will.i.am's relationship being 'more than just friends' was rife early in2010 but the pair insist they have never been a couple.

X Factor fans will be hoping that all three stars on the record will be joining up for a rendition on the popular TV show later this series.
