Growth hormones in trial in France

When Marlène was very young, she was put on growth hormones to help her develop. By the age of 35 she was dead from Creutzfeld-Jacob disease. The use of certain growth hormones was linked over the years to similar cases for a range of people exposed to them in the 1980s. Decades after the hormones were administered, medical practitioners are going on trial for the second time round to establish their responsibility in more than a hundred deaths... while Marlène's parents are still struggling to come to terms with the past. Duration: 01:56.
