Biography says French first lady's facade conceals a "tigress"

The next few days see the release of two biographies of Carla Bruni, the wife of French president Nicolas Sarkozy. Most attention is focused on an unauthorised biography by a French investigative journalist which paints an unflattering picture of the Italian ex-supermodel, claiming she lives a solitary life, neglects her charitable works and forces her husband to socialise with her former lovers.
