Big Brother gets ready to say goodbye

Big Brother will have its final curtain call on Friday night.

After 10 years and more than 1000 episodes the Channel Four reality show is coming to an end.

Over the last two weeks 10 of the programme's most memorable contestants have shared the house for one last time.

With five of them still in the running to take the crown, the odds are on BB2 winner Brian Dowling to become the ultimate Big Brother king.

Friday's finale, however, will be overshadowed by the news of former contestant Nadia Almada's alleged suicide attempt.

A Big Brother spokeswoman said: "We have been in constant touch with Nadia and like all housemates, she has access to all of our aftercare facilities."
