Queen Triggerfish Eats Sea Urchin

The favorite food of the Queen Triggerfish, also called the Old Wife in the West Indies, is the sea urchin. The triggerfish repeatedly squirts water through its pointed snout at a sea urchin until it becomes dislodged and tumbles over. Once the urchin is upside down, the Queen Triggerfish attacks the soft, unprotected underbelly and has a meal. As can be seen in this video, fish rarely have the opportunity to enjoy their dinner in piece. Everything in the ocean scavenges and is not beyond stealing scraps of meals from others.
