How to Assemble a Leinbach Post Hole Digger

In this video, Ted from Everything Attachments, shows how assemble a Leinbach post hole digger /auger. The auger will come in 3 pieces. First you will attach the boom to the tractor, then set the hoop across the boom by attaching it to the draw bar arms and then bolt on to the boom. Once these items are in place the heavy gear box attaches to the underneath of the boom. Then install the PTO shaft to the gear box on one end and to the tractor on the other end. Connect the chains to keep the shaft from rotating. Now your ready to put the auger on to the gear box and dig your first hole with your new post hole digger. The auger will come with oil, but it is still recommended that you check it before every use.
