http://www.newegg.com Our friends over at ZOTAC lent us up with one of their new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480-based video cards a few weeks ago, so we tossed it into our test bed and ran some benchmarks. We ran our benchmarks in 3 configurations: - 1x ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 - 1x Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 - 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 (Crossfire) ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 @ Newegg: http://bit.ly/drAzGK Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 @ Newegg: http://bit.ly/bXt7VJ In the end, we found that the GTX 480 is one heck of a fast card -- but not quite fast enough to catch two 5870s in Crossfire. It definitely trumped our Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 as a single-card solution, though, and posted some particularly impressive numbers in our DirectX 11 tests (Unigine HEAVEN demo and STALKER: Pripyat benchmarks). - Credits - Benchmarking, Camera, Lighting & Sound: Paul Editing & Special Effects: Lam Music by 1Left -- myspace.com/1left
