Egon Kaiser (1901-1982 in Berlin) was a German bandleader and arranger. After his music studies, he worked from 1925 till 1926 at the Staatsoper Berlin (State Opera Berlin) and, also during 1925-1926, conducted at the Metropol Theater. Subsequently, from 1926 till 1929, he performed as a violinist with the Berliner Philharmoniker (Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra). On behalf of the Reichs-Rundfunk-Gesellschaft (National Broadcasting Company) in 1929, he founded a dance band. He played in Berlin's clubs, but above all he orchestrated a large number of record and film compositions.
