Unfortunately I could not identify which orchestra is actually hidden behind this pseudonym. Rust suggests it is the obscure American saxophonist and bandleader who mainly was active in Great Britain the Piccadilly venue in London. However, I am unable to confirm these credits. Indeed Rust refers to this recording mentioning conflictive date. Some sources suggest this is a version under the baton of the composer himself, but this fact is not confirmable either. No recording date is available, but taking into account the matrix number, this fine recording was probably made in 1922.
