A stretch of downtown Los Angeles City Streets were once the home and fortress of narcotic sales and abuse out in public right on the sidewalls of Main Street between 4th & 8th Streets in what is now known as Gallery Row in the Historic Core. A single LAPD officer who went back to the old ways of patrolling this area for years on foot is largely responsible for this retaking of gallery row; Officer Davis a 24 years veteran; offers his report impressions of the progress being made on this assignment.
