Two creative graduates from the North East are diving into a new business together with their knitted swimwear.Pearl & Bloom Ltd is the new small business born by Rachael Glynn and Sylvie Hall who graduated in fashion design from Northumbria University this summer.The daring duo say they've created a new knitted fabric that's interwoven with lycra so that it shrinks when it's wet and moulds to the body.The fashion entrepreneurs say they want to push people's ideas about knitwear and what you can do with it.Pearl and Bloom now have a studio in Ashington and are getting ready to sell their products online to the 18-35 year olds market.If you've heard about an unusual business idea that's taken off, we'd love to hear about it... so drop us a line!
