Mark and Amanda St. Pierre have found a creative and natural way to save on their electric bills – using “cow power”. Thanks to the abundant emissions supplied by their cows, their Vermont dairy farm produces enough electricity to supply the whole community. Pleasant Valley Farm produces more than 40 million pounds of milk a year and approximately 3.5 million KWH (kilowatt-hours) of electricity annually. Take a tour with the St. Pierres and see how Mother Nature is “working for green”.
