Margie Hines was the soundalike who max fleischer hired to do the voice of the helen kane caricature Betty Boop who appeared in Dizzy Dishes (1930)

According to a transcript for musical justice (1931) margie hines was suppost to have played the role of Betty Boop.

apart from voicing Betty Boop margie hines also voiced random characters in the aesop fables cartoons, also she even voiced Olive oyl when mae questel was busy.
and when mae questel refused to move with the fleischer studios to florida
margie hines finished the betty boop series from 1938 - 1939

margie was jack mercers first wife until they had a divorce.
