Gwazi [Lion] POV (Forwards) - RCPro
At a combined track length of over 7,000 feet, reaching speeds of 51 mph, and holding the record for most fly-bys on a dueling roller coaster, Gwazi is a wooden behemoth. Built by Custom Coasters International, Gwazi opened at Busch Gardens Africa on June 18, 1999, Gwazi quickly became one of Florida's most popular roller coasters. The ride, based on the mythological creature of the same name that had the head of a tiger and the body of a lion, sends riders through a webwork of wood, hurling each track's trains at each other 6 times.
