Georgia Super Speeder Law

Warning to Georgia Drivers as of January 1, 2010 drivers face additional fines under a new "super speeder" law. Revenue raised from the additional tax (fines) are intended to support medical trauma units, most of which are concentrated around the Atlanta area with very few trauma units in far rural and Southern parts of the state. This is not a fair form of traffic enforcement.
