Riverboard Hyrdrospeed Blackwater River

Video from the First Riverboard Descent of the Blackwater River from the north fork confluence to Hendrix by Kevin Yount and Bryce Hamilton. High water levels kept them from doing the upper two miles from Blackwater Falls to the confluence, but they will be back. From the blind corner at the put in to the hidden tree trunks under the water, this one was a big out of control, but when two experienced riders scout and watch each other's backs challenging water can be done. The level was just at the max recommended for this section as they put on and continued to rise through the run until it peaked at 50% above the recommended level adding a lot of carnage from beefy holes. Music: "A Safe Place" by the Beautiful Mistake for Militia Records.
