Retromedia's Voyage to the Planet of Prehistoric Women

Quickie king Roger Corman gave director Bogdanovich a big break when he let him construct this film around special effects sequences from a Soviet sci-fi film called "Planeta Burg" (see Foreign Films). Mamie Van Doren is the clamshell-clad queen of alien cave girls who greet a crew of tongue-dragging astronauts very happy to see her after their long journey.
