Your Liver

Blood pressure, Cortisol, insulin and fats are all under the influence of the liver. There is a balancing act between Cortisol and DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is an endogenous hormone (made in the human body) secreted by the adrenal gland. DHEA serves as precursor to male and female sex hormones (androgens and estrogens), when Cortisol levels go up DHEA levels come down, and when DHEA levels go up Cortisol levels come down. Raised Cortisol will lead to raised blood sugar, which will bring about, raise Insulin resistance, resulting in a metabolic disorder and a build up of fats in the Liver. The cause of type 2, Diabetes and Obesity.
