Jimmy Livingston & His Orchestra - I Have A Question In Mind

This probably is one of the most poorly documented bands, although it seems to refer to a real person instead of being a pseudonym. In a local publication of the Georgia School of Technology, 'The Technique', dated April 12th, 1940 I found one mention of this orchestra in the front page article "Colonel Gross
Announces Date Of Army-Navy Ball": "Jimmy Livingston's orchestra from Hendersonville, North
Carolina, will furnish music for the lead-outs honoring the Army and Navy units.". As for this particular recording, in a quite traditional style for that era, it was made in 1937. Although I could not identify the vocalist, most recordings of this band do credit Frank Britton, so there is a fair chance we are hearing him in this refined performance.
