How is it to be neighbour to a housing for drug addicts ?
Pathfinder is a residence in Haderslev -a provincial town in Denmark - for people who has a double-diagnose for drug addiction and also a psychiatric diagnosis.
The purpose of the film is to deepen the understanding of the inhabitants of such protected residences, thereby dealing with the NIMBY effect ( Not In My Backyard)
The film is financed by Ministry of Social Welfare in Denmark.
The film is used as an example of application of the model “Moving Minds- a model of relations,situations and conflicts, presented by Sten Rehder at the NAFA international Film Festival, Breaking the Barriers, Iceland 2008.
