পহেলগাঁও আততায়ী হামলার পর ভারতের কড়া পদক্ষেপ। পাকিস্তানকে কড়া জবাব দিল মোদী সরকার। সাংবাদিক বৈঠক করে জানালেন বিদেশ সচিব বিক্রম মিশ্রি। এদিন তিনি জানান, “এক, সিন্ধু জলবণ্টন চুক্তি বাতিল করল ভারত। দুই, আটারি-ওয়াঘা সীমান্ত বন্ধ করা হল জরুরি ভিত্তিতে। তিন, পাকিস্তানি নাগরিকরা ভারতে আসতে পারবে না। ভিসা দেওয়া হবে না পাক নাগরিকদের। চার, আগামী ৪৮ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে ভারত ছাড়তে হবে পাকিস্তানি নাগরিকদের। পাঁচ, ভারতে হাই কমিশন বন্ধ। পাকিস্তানি কূটনীতিকদের অবিলম্বে ভারত ছাড়ার নির্দেশ। একই সাথে হাই অ্যালার্টে রাখা হল ভারতীয় স্থল, নৌ, বায়ুসেনাকে”।

India's tough action after the Pahalgam terror attack. Modi government gave a strong response to Pakistan. Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri told a press conference. On this day, he said, "One, India has cancelled the Indus Waters Treaty. Two, Attari-Wagah border has been closed on an emergency basis. Three, Pakistani citizens will not be able to come to India. Visas will not be given to Pakistani citizens. Four, Pakistani citizens will have to leave India within the next 48 hours. Five, High Commission in India closed. Pakistani diplomats ordered to leave India immediately. At the same time, Indian army, naval and air forces have been put on high alert”.

00:00The Cabinet Committee on Security met this evening under the chairmanship of the Honourable Prime Minister.

00:07The CCS was briefed in detail on the terrorist attack on 22nd April 2025 in Pahlkam in Jammu and Kashmir,

00:18in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed.

00:24A number of others sustained injuries.

00:26The CCS condemned the attack in the strongest terms and expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims

00:36and hoped for the early recovery of the injured.

00:41Strong expressions of support and solidarity have been received from many governments around the world

00:49which have unequivocally condemned this terror attack.

00:53The CCS recorded its appreciation for such sentiments which reflect zero tolerance for terrorism.

01:02In the briefing to the CCS, the cross-border linkages of the terrorist attack were brought out.

01:11It was noted that this attack came in the wake of the successful holding of the elections in the Union territory

01:20and its steady progress towards economic growth and development.

01:26Recognizing the seriousness of this terrorist attack, the CCS decided upon the following measures.

01:381. The Indus Waters Treaty of 1960 will be held in abeyance with immediate effect

01:46until Pakistan credibly and irrevocably abjures its support for cross-border terrorism.

01:522. The integrated checkpost Atari will be closed with immediate effect.

02:01Those who have crossed over with valid endorsements may return through that route before 1 May 2025.

02:113. Pakistani nationals will not be permitted to travel to India under the SARC Visa Exemption Scheme visas.

02:204. Any SVAS Visas issued in the past to Pakistani nationals are deemed cancelled.

02:28Any Pakistani national currently in India under SVAS Visa has 48 hours to leave India.

02:374. The Defence, Military, Naval and Air Advisors in the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi

02:44are declared persona non grata.

02:47They have a week to leave India.

02:495. India will be withdrawing its own Defence, Navy and Air Advisors from the Indian High Commission in Islamabad.

02:575. These posts in the respective High Commissions are deemed annulled.

03:045. Support staff of the Service Advisors will also be withdrawn from both High Commissions.

03:115. The overall strength of the High Commissions will be brought down to 30 from the present 55 through further reductions to be effected by 1 May 2025.
