01:51of his truck to take a leak on their way home from a night out in oakland county holly police officers
01:58were called about 7 45 p.m to a home on east maple street that's where they found a 28 year old guy
02:05lying in the front yard with injuries to his ass and right hip 32 year old thomas james wolford of
02:15rose township was hiding behind a pickup truck in the driveway when the cops pulled up
02:20hey bud investigators learned that the two men who are co-workers and buddies oh they are co-workers
02:29yeah they'd been returning from a night out the 28 year old guy was the driver and his passenger
02:37was this dude who's now in big trouble so the driver stopped on a dirt road to take a leak
02:44when he returned to the truck he heard this
02:50and felt pressure in his ass
02:55this other dude had been sitting in the passenger seat and had a handgun hidden in his pocket
03:02he was trying to take it out to put it in his backpack oh god when it fired striking the driver
03:10usually you shoot yourself when you do that like usually you shoot yourself so whatever the angle
03:16was that he was trying to take it out of it shot probably narrowly missed his own groin
03:23you shouldn't have loose guns in your pockets no it's not how you carry them you know
03:26the 28 year old still was able to drive i've been shot in the ass and i'm still driving like the other
03:32guy can't take over for god's sakes well forrest gump carried a bunch of people out that's true
03:37he drove jumped up and bit him a nearby friend's house to call for help that's where they took this
03:44guy into custody they call it a million dollar food lieutenant diane
03:50he told the same story about what happened and they did find a loaded semi-automatic handgun
03:57when they talked him out from behind the pickup truck and searched it what a weird yeah what a

05:11and his pocket gun goes off if i found out dave was carrying i wouldn't park anywhere near him

05:25ridiculous so like she trades seats with me during the show i'd have to come down there she'd take
05:30over my studio yeah yeah lisa won't even sit in there because dave's got that pocket gun
05:37so like i'd be mad for certain reasons but i would know that it wouldn't have been a malicious
05:43thing so i don't know how long you can stay mad at someone when it's not malicious you would you
05:47would be like i was just terrified of my driving chuck i'm sorry about your asses i can't even look

07:07stepped out to take a leak at the side of the road and when you were on your way back in your buddy
07:11accidentally shot you in the ass uh yes that's basically the short of it that is that is yep it
07:17was complete accidental uh he's my best friend of 20 plus years blood would have made us closer
07:23and yeah unfortunately um and my my reaction was kind of like denzel on training day you know it was
07:29you you mother well be careful we can't say those denzel words here yeah be careful dj's friend
07:36yeah um dude like were you how how did you manage to wrap your head around the fact that your buddy
07:42just shot you in the ass um we did it while we were driving uh back into town and yeah it was just
07:48that we kept saying i just kept repeating it you know you shot me in the ass you shot me in the ass
07:51just sorry yeah yeah and you kept like he wouldn't drive you kept driving even though you were shot in
08:00the ass yes i was in the driver's seat we were uh we were getting ready to turn the truck around when
08:04it happened okay so uh dave asked me how i would feel if he shot me in the ass and i just we were
08:13wondering like do you just get over this right away like it's like ah it's okay man you just shot
08:19my ass i wouldn't bail them out of jail you did best friends for over 20 years oh yeah yeah so there's
08:28no like you shot my ass like you're gonna just let it go are you gonna make him pay in some way
08:36um yes yeah once my ass heals i'll make him pay all right okay oh yeah yeah how bad did that hurt
08:42uh very extremely bad it's a thousand degrees that's uh okay so i guess another question uh i want to
08:50know um was it just in the ass cheek uh did it hurt any bones was the bullet still in there or did it
08:58go right through um it went um into my right ass cheek um out uh my my right ass cheek into my left
09:06ass cheek and stayed there oh it was right there and that was hot huh that felt hot yeah yeah oh
09:12yeah it was like it was like sitting on a hot pocket for sure oh damn yeah yikes i mean but like no
09:19bones were blown apart or anything just ass cheeks no no i'll meet um i was out of the hospital
