00:00The principal suspects in the latest fatal abduction of businessman Anson Ke and his driver Armani Pabillo are in the custody of PNP's anti-kidnapping group.

00:10And the closed-circuit TV footage gathered by the PNP leaves no doubt on who the perpetrators of the slayings are, as we hear more of the kidnapping from our Ryan Macigues.

00:20The Philippine National Police or PNP has released the autopsy report on how businessman Anson Ke and his driver were killed.

00:43According to National Police spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Jane Fajardo, two victims were strangled to death via a rope.

00:50The two Filipino suspects, identified as Raymar Catequista and Richard Tan Garcia alias Ricardo Austria David, were the ones who reportedly killed the victims.

01:00Investigation revealed that the suspects allegedly killed Ke and his driver as early as April 8.

01:05This Saturday afternoon, the PNP announced that they have already taken into custody the alleged main players in the kidnapping and murder

01:12of the victims. Among them is David Tan Liao alias Xiao Chang, also involved our supposed Filipino accomplices Catequista and David,

01:21who were arrested in Rojas, Palawan on April 18.

01:24In a CCTV footage released by the PNP, the victims' black van is seen parking in front of a house in a subdivision in Bulacan on the afternoon of March 29.

01:34The victim, along with his driver Arman Pabillo, reportedly went there to meet a Chinese woman who were used as bait by the suspects.

01:41In another CCTV footage, Liao and other suspects can be seen outside the house where the victims were killed.

01:48The ransom demanded from the family amounted to over $200 million converted into cryptocurrency.

01:55But the victims were still killed. Liao has allegedly been involved in other incidents of kidnapping of Chinese nationals

02:00from Pogo operations in the country.

02:03But the big question now is, how does he seem to keep evading the law?

02:06Fajardo said,

02:07Isang tinitingnan po natin ngayon, sir, is yung possibly yung mismong mga biktima is afraid to pursue the case.

02:16Authorities continued their hot pursuit operation to catch the mastermind.

02:19The anti-kidnapping group is confident na we have enough evidence para po iprosecute po ito pong grupo ni David Tan Liao.

02:31If you will ask me, asaan na po yung direction po natin pagdating po doon sa mga mastermind.

02:36Like I said earlier po, we are on the process of documenting po yung mga ating mga evidence.

02:42PNP Chief Police General Romo Francisco Marbilla assured that they will unmask the mastermind behind the kidnapping and murder of Kea and his driver.

02:50The Chief of the National Police said this after commending the quick arrest of those behind the heinous crime proof.

02:57He said that the police effectiveness in solving such cases.

03:00Marbilla reiterated that this was not a kidnap for ransom case, but a calculated kidnap for hire operation involving the Chinese Filipino businessman.

03:08He added that once the complaint is filed, they will publicly name the alleged mastermind in accordance with the family's request.

03:16The suspects have already undergone inquest proceedings.

03:19The PNP is hoping that the case of kidnap for ransom with homicide will be filed within this week.
