00:00You ever heard the gospel of, uh, of Kenny Sharp?
00:04That is not an apostle I'm familiar with.
00:06See, Kenny Sharp was an inmate here a few years before you,
00:09and he, like you, was having an issue with his faith.
00:12Kenny was trying hard to be a man of God.
00:15But there was one problem.
00:17Willie B. was the prison bully and an avid weightlifter,
00:20and no one could take him over.
00:21So he did whatever he wanted.
00:23There was no escaping Willie B.
00:34And one day, Kenny Sharp came to me.
00:37So what'd you tell Kenny Sharp?
00:39Same thing I tell everyone.
00:41Pray and walk with God.
00:45The more he prayed, the worse it got with Willie B.
00:48I hate this.
00:53Little Roland is the smallest inmate in the prison,
01:03and he, too, is tired of Willie B.
01:07How did a metal spoon get left behind, you ask?
01:10Well, that morning, Officer Barnes was running late,
01:13and his lovely wife handed him some cream of wheat
01:15with a metal spoon as he ran out the door.
01:19Morning, Leonard.
01:20He finally had a moment to eat it
01:22when he was walking through the mess hall to his post.
01:25And it just so happened that Leonard Neville
01:27had a sudden and fatal heart attack,
01:30causing Officer Barnes to completely forget
01:32about his cream of wheat with that metal spoon.
01:35Get out! Get out!
01:35You've got my mind on the ground.
01:40And then Roland started with that spoon.
01:55Everybody watched, intrigued.
01:57Who's going where?
01:58Willie B going to be able to knock Roland off of him?
02:00Or is Roland going to puncture Willie B's jugular with that spoon?
02:05Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
02:13I thought this was Kenny's gospel.
02:14No, it is. It is.
02:16But he got knocked out.
02:17Yeah, well, you have to see the bigger picture.
02:19See, God had to move many pieces
02:20to free the prison from the tyranny of Willie B.
02:23Now, while you may see little Roland as the hero,
02:27in truth, he would never have found that spoon
02:30without Kenny Sharp.
02:32But I don't want to be Kenny Sharp.
02:34I want to be little Roland.
02:35Yeah, but we can't all be little Roland.
02:37To God, we're just pieces on a chessboard,
02:41and he's the master.
02:43And if you let God move you,
02:45he always leads us out of the misery of humanity.
02:50Blind faith.
02:51But if you don't follow his path,
02:54God will fuck you up.
