00:00What that means for a musical director is I'm an artist-first type of producer.
00:05Artists know that when they come to me, I'm going to protect them.
00:08I'm going to protect their voice.
00:10I'm going to protect everything on stage.
00:12I'm going to protect their arrangements.
00:13It's not about anything else but having the greatest show possible for other people to experience and see.
00:19When I decided to start a company, it wasn't because I thought that I could do it.
00:24It was because I had a dream and I wanted to see whether or not the dream would become a reality.
00:30And so as you go out there, I want you guys to be yourself.
00:34The world will adjust.
00:36Yeah, so my dad's a classical music teacher and he also taught jazz instrumental and he was my middle school teacher.
00:42My dad used to say when we were in class, if you don't have anything to say through the music, don't say anything at all.
00:48And I found that where my heart was and my gift lied, it wasn't through communicating that through instruments.
00:55It ended up being through acting and that was discovered over time.
01:00So as you pursue your dreams, remember to have determination, grit, and never give up hope because the journey is worth it.
01:10Thanks for listening.
