00:00At the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, the Qatari foreign minister was among the first to have visited Moscow to meet his counterpart,
00:08in order to explore the possibility whether Qatar could play a positive role in that emergency situation.
00:15We have sought this from the very beginning, with our active participation in the grain deal,
00:20and supporting all international and regional efforts to bring this war to an end.
00:24As of today, Qatar's mediation has facilitated dozens of children, successfully returning to their families in both Russia and Ukraine.
00:33That bears a huge importance during wars and crises, as children are the ones who suffer first.
00:39The role of Qatar in this issue is also based on the active and constructive involvement of the Russian and Ukrainian governments.
00:46We sincerely appreciate Russia's openness regarding this matter and the fruitful collaboration that we are discussing on your television channel.
00:55Therefore, operations for reuniting the children are proceeding quite successfully.
01:00We express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the governments of both countries, particularly Moscow, for the significant role it has played in this process.
01:09These activities continue today, and our goal is for this to serve as a positive beginning that fosters new opportunities for dialogue between the two nations.
01:19Qatar has always advocated for peaceful resolutions to all conflicts.
01:23This stance is not directly tied to Qatar's positions on these crises.
01:28Rather, it reflects Qatar's belief that all crises should be resolved at the negotiation table, not on the battlefield.
01:34We have stated from the very beginning and confirmed that Qatar is ready to act as a mediator, facilitating negotiations among all parties involved.
01:44We support all efforts aimed at achieving this goal.
01:48In this context, we recently expressed our support for the discussions held in Riyadh and Jeddah, issued statements and supported communication between our leadership in Doha and colleagues from these countries.
01:59To date, we are indeed optimistic about these contacts, and support all efforts in this direction.
02:06We also seek to take a more active position.
02:09Simultaneously, we provide considerable support to the efforts of our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which made this meeting possible in Riyadh.
02:17These efforts undertaken by the Gulf states as a whole, along with Saudi Arabia, demonstrate that our region strives to become a center for peaceful resolution, rather than a battleground for wars and conflicts.
02:30We hope to see positive outcomes from these efforts for both our region and the entire world.
02:35Thank you for looking at our region.
