Bengaluru, April 16, 2025 (ANI): While speaking on caste census tussle in Karnataka, BJP MP K Sudhakar slammed CM Siddaramaiah and called it ‘drama to save his seat.’He further said, “This survey is 10 years old and was submitted during Siddaramaiah's first term as Chef Minister between 2013 and 2018. For last 8-10 years, they kept it in cold storage and now suddenly, as he approaches the end of his 2.5-year power-sharing term, he brings the issue back to the forefront... These are all drama to save his seat... The issue of caste census and reservation is being revived not out of public interest, but as a strategic card to consolidate his base and send a clear message to the Congress high command...”

00:00This is more than 10 years old survey.
00:04This report was submitted while Mr. Sidramayaji was a chief minister in his first term.
00:10That was between 2013 and 2018.
00:14For the last 8-10 years, they kept this report in a freezer.
00:21And now all of a sudden, because the two and a half years term is coming to an end
00:27of Mr. Sidramayaji as a chief minister, according to their, you know, terms and conditions
00:35and whatever their decisions.
00:37That is an internal matter of Congress.
00:38I have nothing to say about it.
00:41So, in order to save his seat, I think he is playing this card of reservation.
00:50Secondly, the caste census.
00:51These are all the, these are all the kind of drama that Honorable Chief Minister is trying
01:00to do to save his seat.
