For last 8-10 years, they kept it in cold storage and now suddenly, as he approaches the end of his 2.5-year power-sharing term, he brings the issue back to the forefront... These are all drama to save his seat... The issue of caste census and reservation is being revived not out of public interest, but as a strategic card to consolidate his base and send a clear message to the Congress high command...”
