00:00So from Spear to Coachella, Anima bro, I don't think people were ready for you to come out
00:09doing Yee, even though you guys have the track together, so how was that whole vibe?
00:12Yeah, no shit. I wasn't ready for it, like, honestly. Like, it's been just, like, surreal
00:18working with him, like, so talented and, like, we just, like, directly went for it,
00:23made the song in a few weeks, studied the visual, the whole universe we wanted to make
00:28collide, you know? My world, his world. His world's crazy, like, the energy was insane.
00:33Like, it was for sure an experience and some crossover, even I didn't expect I would have
00:37done in my life, you know?
00:38And, I mean, you have obviously, through your career, created a really awesome world,
00:42which people saw as Spear. So how do you come into, like, his world and, like, do your own thing?
00:48Well, I feel like artists such as me and Yee, we have such strong vision for our brands and our art
00:56and what it means to be an artist into this contemporary world, that when two universes
01:02like that collide, it all works very well or is like a disaster, you know?
01:08Like, because it's not obviously something we did necessarily for commercial purposes or
01:13just to make it happen, you know? We really wanted to see if we can, like, do something
01:17next level and sort of, like, you know, make people say, like, what is this? Like, what's
01:22happening, you know? So, in the end, it was very, very chaotic and very organic and it
01:27was just, you know, it flowed. This time it flowed and it worked and this is the result.
01:32No pun intended.
01:33Nice. And, of course, you're always working on music. So what can you tell us about new
01:36albums, new projects? What are you working on?
01:38Yeah. So, The Sphere was, of course, the end of the trilogy of Genesis. So, I just finished
01:45the third album, which is going to be called The End of Genesis. I'm going to be released
01:49in May. So, that's a part of my life. A very big chapter is going to close. I'm very proud
01:55of this record. Like, I work with most of my favorite artists, you know, like Grimes,
02:00Twigs, Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun. And I'm just stoked, you know? I'm stoked it's
02:06over and I'm stoked that what's going to come next, you know? So, yeah, I mean, I'm just
02:12going to keep creating because that's what I do and that's just, like, what I live for.
02:16And I'm just happy people resonating with it and excited to put the record out.
02:19Dude, people are definitely resonating. And I have to ask everybody I've been interviewing
02:23this question at Coachella, right? So, if you were Golden Voice, right? You're building
02:26your own Coachella. Yeah. I need to know who's the headliner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
02:30night. Oh. Yeah. Put your line up together. I want to hear it.
02:35All right. So, three headliners for Coachella?
02:38Three headliners. It's your booking. You can book whoever you want.
02:43Can I book people that obviously wouldn't do it anymore?
02:46Yeah. Do it. All right. It's your show. All right. You got unlimited budget. You can
02:50bring people from the dead if you want. I'm just saying. I'm not going to bring people
02:52from the dead, but... So, I'm definitely going to book Daft Punk. Just because I would see
02:57it. Honestly, solid. Solid. I'm going to book Daft Punk. You know, I'd book Cardi.
03:04Cardi? Yeah. I'd book Cardi. Okay. Okay. Getting it wild. Saturday night's now crazy.
03:09Yeah. We were vibing for Daft Punk. We got really lit for Cardi. Yeah.
03:12Now it's Sunday. Now it's Sunday. Sunday. Yeah. So, now it's more like just of a perspective
03:20of curation. Okay. Okay. You know, you got the rap. You got the dance. Yeah. Yeah.
03:25I would do like a big, big act. Yeah. Something like, yeah, maybe Rihanna or...
03:32Rihanna. Yeah. Why not?
03:34Rihanna needs to play Coachella. Yeah. She does.
03:35I'm going to put that into the universe, bro. Yeah. I think she should.
03:38Thanks for hanging out with us, man. I really enjoyed what you did with Yeet, and thanks
03:42for kicking it with me, bro.
03:43Sure, bro.
