00:00Should economic development and growth become fundamental to ensure our success as a nation?
00:16Affirmative.
00:19But what's the meaning of success and development and progress?
00:22When people become semi-literate and dogmatic, inhuman, and condone oppression, abuse of power, or endemic corruption, as you have seen.
00:38We're talking about some of the financial scandals and fiasco, including the YMDB.
00:43Don't blame just one person.
00:45System was at fault.
00:47We are the voices of reason.
00:49We're the voices who talk about values in the universities.
00:54Why the silence among those elites?
00:58So we have to actually answer this very fundamental pertinent question.
01:04What went wrong?
01:07Of course, because our education, what we promote, does not also promote understanding, tolerance, and good values.
01:19For us, to me, why we promote values like Ahmad Dhani?
01:23Because it's our survival.
01:25First, we are promoting what we believe as the truth.
01:29For the last 30 years, Osman, you've been preaching about dialogue.
01:33I want you to talk to some of our members of parliament to understand that.
01:38You have absolutely zero understanding about appreciating and understanding and respecting one another.
01:46Some of the speeches represent just the most extreme voice against reason.
01:55So that is why I come here, to show, to not only impress upon you, but to show that we are committed to this.
02:05And we cannot fail.
02:13This must be this voice of reason.
02:16I always say they challenge.
02:18He says, Anwar, under you, you are too multiracial, you are too kind to the rest, we will fail.
02:24I say, we fail not because we are friendly with the non-Malays.
02:29We fail because we condone corrupt leaders, responsible, and semi-literate leaders representing our cause.
02:38We fail because of that.
02:40We must succeed if we talk about reason, about respect, about good governance, and good values that transcend race.
02:50And that, to me, is what dialogue is all about.
02:56Not many who appreciate, but here comes the Prime Minister who wants to promote strongly dialogue between races, between religions, between civilizations.
03:06So it's not just a political gimmick.
03:12I don't think I can must gana more votes just because I think I need to promote this dialogue.
03:40Terima kasih.
03:41Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
