Recommended tempo for this piece is 126 bpm.The piece featured here is only an arrangement and is essentially a stripped-back and much more basic version of The Entertainer by Scott Joplin.
This piece is mainly to be played legato (smoothly) in the right hand, but the left hand part can have a little more bounce, in keeping with the Ragtime style of the music.
Dynamics are straightforward and uncomplicated, but it would be a good idea to practise the left hand part a lot - until it becomes very easy to play as a self-contained part, otherwise trying to play hands together too early on in the learning process could be tricky, especially if you haven’t played much Ragtime music before!
