YORDANIA, KOMPAS.TV Presiden Prabowo Subianto menyinggung soal masa-masa dirinya masih muda dan hari-hari tergelap dirinya di depan Raja Yordania, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein.
Momen ini terjadi saat pertemuan keduanya di Istana Al Husseiniya, Amman pada Senin (14/5/2025).
"Kita masih sangat muda, saya tidak bisa melupakan saya diterima oleh ayah anda yang hebat dan oleh anda sendiri. Sebenarnya, selama saat hari-hari tergelap saya secara pribadi. Anda berdiri di samping dan anda tidak pernah meragukan persahabatan saya," ujar Prabowo.
Diketahui, pada 1998 pasca reformasi, Prabowo Subianto pergi ke Yordania usai diberhentikan dari dinas militer.
Dalam kunjungan Prabowo ke Yordania di 2025, Presiden Prabowo dan Raja Yordania menyaksikan penandatanganan empat MOU strategis antara Indonesia dan Kerajaan Yordania.
Sejumlah MOU diantaranya terkait kerja sama Militer, Keagamaan dan Pertanian.
