Speaking to reporters outside Air Force One on Friday, April 11, President Donald Trump said he wishes for Iran to thrive and be a “wonderful, great, happy country,” but emphasized that it must not possess nuclear weapons.
Meanwhile, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff is set to travel to Muscat, Oman, on Saturday for indirect talks with Iran regarding its nuclear program.
President Trump has given Iran a 60-day deadline to reach a deal.
